January's Technique Blog Hop!!

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop!  This month there are 13 of us highlighting the “Original Argyle” Technique as shown on page 91 in the Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea Book!  This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.  If you would like to start from the beginning, please visit this link http://debiistheothersister.blogspot.com.  While there you will also find a listing of all participants and their blog addresses if you should get lost or want to reference a blog along the way.  Let’s get started!

If you are coming from Sheila's Blog, you are on the right track!

I made this layout of my daughter Mercy when she turned 13 I told her that I would let her have highlights and some how she talked me into doing them myself and I must say I did a good job!

I used the triangle from Pennant Alphabet (E1018) to make the Argyle pattern at the points of each triangle I used Prisma Glitter (Z134) to help with the pattern.  I stamped with Tulip ink pad and I would flip the stamp back and forth to be able to create the pattern.

Supply List:  Roxie Level 2 paper pack (x7140B)
Prisma Glitter (Z134)
Liquid Glass (Z679)
Pennant Alphabet (E1018)
Brads
Thanks for stopping by!

Now hop on over to Michelle B where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique! Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!

  1. I like the aged look the argle has, and how you have it running different directions for each page.
